Limongi road bike
This bike was built by Guiseppe"Pepe" Limongi. Limongi was born in France descendant of Italian immigrants. He built many frames for well known cyclist, including members of the Renault Elf team of the early 1980's which included cyclist like Laurent Fignon and Greg Lemond. In the 80s - 90s he spent some time in the U.S. Building Paris-Sport bikes (the house brand of the Fraysee family in New Jersey). Around the same time Francisco Cuevas also built Paris-Sport bikes. Limongi then moved to Canada building bikes for Trois Rivieres, Quebec, with Desmarais. He later returned to France.
This Limongi is equipped with Campagnolo Super Record parts from 1977 und 1978, and the head lug is cast with the Limongi name. What makes the bike even more special is the attention to detail and its condition. This bike was assembled by a professional mechanic associated with Louison Bobet. The bike is like it came out of the manufacture, except the brake hoods. No dents, original painting.
A classic raod bike at its best, firsthand and less miles.
