Gitane Wolber raod bike frame 55.5cm

A beautiful and interesting French racing bike frame. It comes from the Wolber - Spidel Tour de France team (1982 and 83. The previous owner was member the TdF for the Wolber - Spidel team. The team used Wolber, MICMO, Spidel and Columbus parts.

Let's go to the facts. The serial number indicates the production year 1982. A mixture of Italian and French elements : Cinelli bottom bracket housing, French bottom bracket and fork thread, also simplex dropouts. Interpretation : frame has Columbus tubes and at the end of the day the frame comes form the MICMO - Gitane workshop.

However, the frame weight of 2.37 kg (fork and frame) clearly indicates a high-quality frame.
